The B.E. (Black Excellence) Film Festival and Short Film Showcase is a subsidiary of and produced by Brooklyn Media Publishing LLC. The Black Excellence (B.E.) Festival will be held June 18-19, 2021 at the legendary Showboat Hotel and Convention Center located on the historic Atlantic City Boardwalk.The B.E. Short Film Showcase discovers, supports and develops new talent in filmmaking, providing a platform for emerging and established filmmakers from around the world. Recognizing the important role of Black Excellence and independent films have in the history of filmmaking, storytelling, and culture, BESFS wants to help empower the next generation of filmmakers.
